Don’t tell people things
1. People are stupid. They cannot handle being told certain things. They blow it out of proportion.
2. They don’t care. Everyone has their own stuff to worry about; they really don’t want to have to bear the burden of your troubles as well.
3. They can offer advice, but really, what does it do? I know that, at least for me, it doesn’t do much. When I come into a difficult situation, I sort of already have a feeling about how it’s going to be resolved. I can ask for advice on it all day, and people can give me advice on it all day. However, in the end, am I really going to listen to them? No, probably not. Though they may have been in a similar situation, they don’t know what I’m going through. Therefore, their solution probably isn’t applicable. Plus, I’m so damn stubborn that I’m most likely going to do what I think is right regardless.
4. They tell other people your secrets. Like their friends and their parents. If you’re not willing to tell your own parents, then I’m pretty sure you don’t want other peoples’ parents knowing. And freaking everyone I know tell their parents everything.
5. People judge you. They say they don’t, but they do. Maybe they don’t do it willingly, but they do it, nonetheless.
6. People are stupid. They cannot handle being told certain things. They blow it out of proportion.
This is probably why I have such a hard time making connections with people. I don’t trust them, and I don’t want them to know me. That is so hypocritical coming from this blog where I basically put my life, but, honestly, who even reads/cares about this nonsense?
