Oh, okay.
So you want to make dinner when your boyfriend is over, but we all know good and well that if he wasn’t here we’d be eating leftovers. You want to have us all sit down & eat at the table when he’s here, but when he’s not, you could care less. When he’s over here, you want to say the blessing, go to church, and act holier than holy, but when he’s not here, you never act like that. Okay. I see how it is.
So you want to act all perfect and go the extra mile when he’s over here; do Drew and I, as your children, not deserve that treatment on a daily basis? I know you want to look like a good mom/potential wife, but damn. Is he really that much more important than us that you have to step it up like that for him?
All I know is that when I’m a mother, I’m going to cook my kids dinner, eat with them, and pray with them regardless. I won’t need someone to impress to do all of that stuff.

So, I was talking to my mom a few days ago about Med. School stuff, and she told me something super interesting. It turns out that that medical schools in California cost way less than other medical schools. It also turns out that California also has some of the highest ranking medical schools in the country. To give an idea of what I’m talking about, I looked up UC San Diego’s proposed cost for 2012-2013 resident graduate students: $15,520.50. Other medical schools I’ve looked at are $30,000-$50,000- even for residents- so, yeah, this is pretty crazy. My mom also said something about residents of CA med. schools get their tuitions paid for by the school. To even be considered a “resident”, though, you have to live in California for at least a year. I’m not too sure about this, though, I’ve got to do some more research on it. I just thought this was pretty crazy. California kinda sounds like the place to go, now, hah.
